Kristen Runner was born in Orlando, Florida in March of 1984. She started competitive gymnastics at the age of 5, competing and medaling all the way up to level 10 in state, regional and national competitions. After gymnastics, she joined several diving teams and her school’s cheerleading team, where she was honored with the All American Cheerleader award all four years of high school. After competition life, Kristen began coaching gymnastics and cheerleading and has continued to do so for the last 9 years. She graduated from Trinity Valley School in 2002. She currently is a student at Texas Christian University, majoring in English. She hopes to become a Kindergarten or high school English teacher. Kristen has been a part of the GSX team since May 2007.
